Who doesn’t like George Michael? “Uhh, most people don’t, Geoff. He hasn’t been relevant since 1988.”. Oh, well he is now…sort of. I can’t get the damn song out of my head, but that’s okay. I secretly kind of like it. Check out Sexy Sax Man as he pranks Los Angeles. It seems so wrong with his mullet, sweet mustache and tacky leather pants, but it feels…so…right. Check it:

The only thing funnier than that might be the original music video for “Careless Whisper”. Don’t remember it? I’ll save you the five seconds it would take to Google it:

Apparently people in Africa Mountain Bike across the wilderness with crazy animals lurking about. Would you ride a mountain bike across the Serengeti? I’d be afraid a lion or cheetah would think I was some sort of a wildebeest or hartebeest, but apparently it’s the hartebeest you have to watch out for. Check out this tube to see what i’m talking about. For the best effect, make this video full screen before you watch it.

Reality Hits You Hard Bro

You know what my favorite part of watching the local news is? They will allow ANYONE to be on tv! More than that, it seems like the cameramen will search for the most ridiculous person to interview anytime something newsworthy happens. If a tornado touched down in Little Rock today, they wouldn’t look for any regular Joe Schmo. They would find the most animated person on the street and who probably looks like they just rolled out of bed. This week’s video is about one such person who is interviewed after a traffic accident. Watch as this very energized character recounts his experience from his “arcin’ sparkin’” accident:

I love this cat. The newscaster read my thoughts exactly. Chris Farley reincarnated! This clip got such big a response that it has since been auto-tuned (re-mixed into a song) and I thought I’d share that with you as well. :

Remember, if you have a video you think others would enjoy, please leave the title of the YouTube video in the comments section. Have a great weekend!

Have you ever been bear hugged when you didn’t want to be?  Do you have bear-hug-phobia?  Well, fear no more.  This man teaches you how to side step when hugged and grab some testicles. Wait, what? Yup, that wasn’t a typo.  Just get yourself a handful. Maybe I’m not explaining this very well.  Watch this video for some self-defense tips against hugs.

I didn’t get a chance to post a video last week so I will post two today. This first video is courtesy of teenagers who think they will live forever. Just a little gust of wind and one of these kids could die. As dumb as I think these kids are, this video is great. To feel like you too might die, maximize the video to full screen and make it HD.

I don’t know about you, but I live for the weekends and this coming weekend is extra special. Not only is it the start of the college football season (Woo Pig Sooie!) it’s a three day weekend for many of us! There isn’t much I enjoy more than extra snoozing time and short work weeks. #Winning or something like that. The point is, I’m jazzed up for it. Who uses the word “jazzed” Geoff? It’s 2011, you are a nerd. Whatever, I’m excited. To illustrate my excitement, I looked for a fun and entertaining video. I think this will do the trick. It has nothing to do with football or Fridays, but it’s fun nevertheless. Happy Friday. Check it:

Side note: If you read my blog often, you might notice that the song in this video is from a different video I wrote about a few weeks ago entitled “Pop Culture” Music Mashup. That video now has almost 4 million views!

Amazing iPhone 5 Concept

Alright, admittedly I’ve never been an iPhone fan before. It probably has more to do with the fact that I didn’t feel like I could afford one than anything else. That and the fact that Motorola Android phones do most of the same things. This however, is AMAZING. How thin can a phone actually get? I remember when I thought the Motorola Razor was thin. This iPhone 5 concept makes the Razor look like Kirstie Alley. This video features some cool features of an iPhone 5 concept phone including a laser keyboard and a holographic display. The real question is, is this real? I don’t think so, but if it is, I WANT ONE!. Actually I’m almost positive this is just an epic fake. It’s a cool video regardless and I don’t think anything in the video is outside the realm of possibility. I could see this as the iPhone in like five years. What do you think? Check it:

Breaking the Barrier

This week’s video is all about breaking the barrier and making it to the next step in your relationship. My favorite way to break it is with the “cup of cheese” method. Straight and to the point. You can’t go back once the barrier is broken either. Have you ever dated a girl that broke the barrier first?  I did.  It was a different experience to say the least.  Maybe I’m being sexist, but there is just something different about when a girl breaks the barrier. Geoff, what the hell are you talking about? Are you talking about engagement? Nope, I’m afraid it’s much more sensitive and crucial point in a relationship than that. Troll this tube:

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be inside an EF5 tornado? Well, this is it. The images from the video aren’t good, but the sound made my hair stand up. I’m going to post two videos. The first is the actual footage of when the tornado hits. You NEED sound for this. It’s all dark, so you can’t really see anything, but the sounds are eerie and accurate. The second is the same person shooting the aftermath and showing exactly where they were and how they got out of the mangled building. These people were so lucky.

The Most Entertaining Way to Get Your News!

Today there are at least a bagillion ways to get filled in on the many happenings around the World.  My favorite way to get my news is watching the Philip Defranco show.  Before I found Phil, I never took the time to watch the news.  It was just always so depressing or boring.  People at the office would talk about some foreign politician that got shot or a new trend like planking and I would just sit in silence, not knowing what they were talking about.  Defranco gives a comical, sometimes twisted and always entertaining view on what’s going on today and now I no longer have to be “that guy”.  When I first started watching his show, he looked like a teenager posting videos from his bedroom at his parent’s house…and he probably was.  Now it seems he is making enough money to do his show full time…as a career…from his own place.  It just blows my mind how these guys get an idea, start a YouTube channel and end up making enough money to do to it for a living.  Defranco’s show is essentially a news VLOG.  The videos aren’t long enough to cover everything in the news, but it’s the most entertaining way I’ve found to get “Philed in” on whatever crap is happening from day to day.  Troll the tube below for an interesting take on the news:
